Wij werken samen met Tumi Ghana, een organisatie voor Women Empowerment.

In het Women Empowerment Centre worden jonge vrouwen opgeleid tot naaisters en ontwerpsters. Tevens worden deze vrouwen gecoacht op ondernemersvaardigheden, zoals administratie en marketing. Daarnaast krijgen ze seksuele voorlichting en toegang tot gratis anticonceptie. Dit alles resulteert in vakbekwame en onafhankelijke vrouwen die voor zichzelf en hun kinderen kunnen zorgen.

Onze slingers zijn handgemaakt en iedere slinger is anders. Jij kiest welke kleur lint je wil, de maker kiest welke vlaggetjes eraan hangen.

Iedere slinger is 5 meter lang en heeft 15 vlaggetjes. De slingers kunnen in de wasmachine en zijn daardoor telkens opnieuw te gebruiken.
